Winter in Sydney
My camera hibernated for the winter, as did my sense of adventure.
As the nights drew in and the mornings became chilly (relatively speaking of course, compared to England it was positively balmy) I became a city boy once more - the workaday routine of commuting, meetings, lunch hours, sleepy Monday mornings and hungover Fridays regressing me back to an attitude of apathy and complacency I thought I had left far behind.
Recalling the last six months, weekends have ruled and everything inbetween has become blurry and insubstantial, except for feelings of homesickness and disatisfaction that have haunted me at times. Ironically, selfishly, despite my fortunate position, I have felt sorry for myself at various points... it has been a most challenging time.
But, as I said, the weekends ruled. Here are a few snapshots...

Quite a view, eh? (and the opera house doesn't look bad either)
Things start to become a bit sketchy for Matthew
G-Man and Will
Blowpop Sydney: not as popular as it is in Bristol. Will seems to like it though

Me, getting similarly carried away
Worryingly, Will takes things a bit too far and has a fake eyelashes moment
